The paper company Mondi has invested around 9 million euros in its Eschenbach site in Bavaria. The Group is thus strengthening its e-commerce capacities.<\/strong><\/p>

The international packaging and paper group Mondi<\/a> is strengthening its machinery at the Eschenbach site with modern technology. The investment of around EUR 9 million, which was completed on schedule in the first quarter of this year, includes modernisations along the entire process chain<\/strong>The new machine will include the installation of a state-of-the-art folding carton inliner, additional tape applications for the corrugator and an upgrade in the area of automation with packing robots and a new automatic bundling system.<\/p>

Mondi Eschenbach's portfolio includes a wide variety of glued packaging, focussing on the area of sustainable eCommerce packaging. The packaging requirements of online retailers can vary greatly, Thanks to the new technical equipment, the plant can respond to this with a wider range of customised solutions for a wide variety of needs<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Mondi e-commerce portfolio consists of various innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, that meet the requirements of online mail order companies as well as the expectations of online shoppers<\/strong>. The sustainability of packaging and the \u201eunboxing\u201c experience, i.e. the packaging as the first touchpoint of the brand experience, are becoming increasingly important.
