The award recognises the development of bottles made from 100 percent HDPE recyclate, which was initiated by \u201eWerner &amp; Metz\u201c, manufacturer of various cleaning products, the bottle manufacturer \u201eAlpla-Werke Alwin Lehner GmbH &amp; Co KG\u201c and Der Gr\u00fcne Punkt. The award ceremony will take place on 2 May 2018 at the AIP National Conference in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The award-winning companies have developed a process that uses raw materials from the \u201e<strong>Yellow bag<\/strong>\u201c high-quality bottles are produced. In its award citation, the jury expressly emphasised the retention of the familiar appearance as well as the <strong>Quality of the bottles<\/strong> without restriction of the <strong>Product safety<\/strong> compared to bottles made from crude oil. \u201e<strong>Werner &amp; Metz<\/strong>\u201c already uses these bottles as standard for its \u201eemsal Bodenpflege Parkett\u201c product and is endeavouring to convert all PE packaging to recycled quality.<\/p>\n<p>This year's World Star Packaging Award honoured 200 entries in twelve categories.
