The newly developed Ishida IX-PD X-ray inspection system (image) enables Foreign body control at the highest level<\/strong>. A complete line for packaging snacks in pouches combines a 14-head CCW-RV multihead weigher, an Inspira flow-wrapping machine, a new TSC-AS seal tester and an equally new ACP cartoner. The Product loss and film waste are reduced to almost zero<\/strong>and the overall equipment effectiveness is more than 99 per cent.<\/p>
