The proven Innopack Kisters Nature MultiPack (NMP) machine will be at the centre of KHS' trade fair presence, exemplifying the variety of pioneering packaging solutions. It joins beverage cans or PET bottles into sturdy packs with just a few dots of adhesive and without any outer packaging. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The technology achieves material savings of up to 90 per cent and has now been systematically developed further: A new Universal adhesive can be used on almost all top coats of both aluminium and tinplate cans<\/strong>. The one-fits-all solution, which is already being used successfully in practice, makes it easier for numerous beverage producers to switch to NMP, as selecting the right adhesive used to be a time-consuming process.<\/p>

In order to determine which form of packaging has which effect on the climate and whether a conversion for stretch blow-moulding machines, for example, would have a positive impact on CO2<\/sub>-balance sheet, has KHS<\/a> various Carbon footprint calculation tools developed<\/strong>. The free service was developed in collaboration with the Hamburg Institute for Environmental Informatics, an independent, world-leading software developer for material and energy flow analyses. For more efficient and safe production processes, the company presents its modular automation solutions for format changeovers for packaging beverage cans and PET bottles<\/strong>. With the new option for all KHS packers from the Advanced series and palletisers from the PB series, up to 80 percent of all manual activities associated with changeovers are no longer necessary. This saves users up to 30 minutes per format change for packing and palletising.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The new Innopal PLR high-performance palletiser further increases efficiency in the dry section of a line. With the help of robots, the machine processes up to 625 layers per hour. This corresponds to a nominal capacity of up to 135,000 cans per hour, depending on their diameter. However, this machine can also palletise PET containers and glass bottles.<\/p>
