As part of the Coesia Group, Atlantic Zeiser is presenting its new Digiline Vario at this year's interpack. The machine is designed for inline printing of pouch packaging and provides answers to current challenges in packaging printing.<\/strong><\/p>

With inline digital printing, the production of packaging made from flexible laminates such as pouches and stick packs can now be made much more agile and efficient. The costly and time-consuming ordering, handling and storage of many different pre-printed rolls of flexible narrow web materials is no longer necessary and dependency on film suppliers is significantly reduced. Atlantic Zeiser is presenting the new Digiline Vario for the first time in Europe at interpack<\/strong>, a system for full-colour on-demand printing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201eIn-house printing capabilities are now a game changer: brands, converters and contract manufacturers now have full control over the design of materials and packaging,\u201c says Gael Murat, Senior Commercial Director at Atlantic Zeiser<\/a>. \u201eDigital printing is the right answer to numerous challenges<\/strong>, \u201cThe challenges we face include the growing number of different packaging units (SKUs), faster market launches, small batch sizes, increasing changeovers, minimum order quantities from film suppliers, sometimes long lead times for material deliveries and new artwork and, last but not least, the urgent desire to produce more sustainably by minimising waste.\" The Digiline Vario is available not only as an inline version, but also as a nearline and offline version (\u201ereel to reel\u201c) so that it can be optimally integrated into existing systems and processes<\/strong>.<\/p>

The new Digiline Vario offers high-speed printing of up to 60 metres per minute to maintain the high throughput of existing production lines. At the same time, it guarantees high resolution with razor-sharp colour printing. The tension management of the film web and the web guiding systems guarantee consistently high print quality and precise rewinding.<\/strong> Thanks to the new ProFlo inkjet technology, the system achieves vivid colours and the best print quality even for the smallest details in the form of graphics, fonts, coding or serialisation. \u201eThis gives customers the security of maintaining the uniform appearance of their brands,\u201c emphasises Gael Murat.<\/p>
