At this year's LogiMAT, labelling provider Bluhm Systeme will be presenting products, solutions and systems that not only implement intelligent networking and indoor localisation in real time, but can also contribute to optimising production speed, precision, flexibility and availability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

AutoID technologies are considered the key to Logistics 4.0. Labelling technology enables raw materials, products and packaging to control their own intralogistics routes from production to shipping preparation. These fully automated processes enable smaller batch sizes and an increasing number of variants - core topics at LogiMAT 2018 in Stuttgart.<\/p>\n

Labelling a wide range of sizes, shapes and surfaces<\/strong><\/p>\n

Labelling with barcode and\/or shipping labels is carried out by high-performance labellers such as the Legi-Air systems: The Legi-Air 6000<\/strong> labels various tall cartons with above-average speed and precision at 2,250 cycles per hour. It owes this high speed to the servo-electric drive and the lightweight design of its applicator. Its modular design also makes it easy to integrate into production environments.<\/p>

With the Legi-Air 4050 P<\/strong> Bluhm Systeme is presenting a modular pallet labeller for labelling at a standstill or in throughfeed without stopping the pallet. The system offers many advantages in terms of speed, safety, application options, size and ease of servicing.<\/p>\n

Direct printing as a fast and cost-effective alternative<\/strong><\/p>\n

Logistically relevant labelling can also be applied using inkjet printers. The high-performance print controller is suitable for printing on boxes and trays in small and large characters X4JET plus touch<\/strong>. It can centrally control printing technologies from four different ink manufacturers and therefore simultaneously label primary and secondary packaging. Font heights of less than 1 mm up to 400 mm and a print resolution of up to 600 dpi can be realised depending on the printing technology.<\/p>\n

The continuous inkjet printer Linx 8900<\/strong> prints up to three lines on plastic, metal, glass or lacquered cardboard. With many practical functions and features such as long print head cleaning and maintenance intervals, touchscreen and production throughput display, it increases production time and makes work easier.<\/p>\n

Lasering for eternity<\/strong><\/p>\n

Laser markers are also used in logistics: with the e-SolarMark<\/strong> can be used to mark products and components in a tamper-proof, durable and highly legible way. It engraves and marks materials such as paper, plastic, glass or metal. Slim in size, the device integrates perfectly into existing systems or automatic testing machines. Visitors to LogiMAT will receive a biro with name engraving.<\/p>\n
