S\u00fcdpack's sustainable film concepts are increasingly attracting the attention of sustainability-orientated companies. At interpack in D\u00fcsseldorf, they are therefore a favoured packaging material on the exhibition stands of SN Maschinenbau, Weber and Ulma Packaging. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Whether stand-up pouches, flow packs or thermoformed packaging - S\u00fcdpack's modern material structures have a lot in common: they provide optimum protection for the packaged products, are particularly material-efficient, based on PP or PE<\/strong> and thus fulfil the current requirements in terms of recyclability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Sustainable and efficient: stand-up pouches at SN Maschinenbau <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The versatile PE composite impresses with optimum bag stability, recyclability, minimised use of resources, a lower packaging weight and, as a result, a lower weight per pack. improved CO2<\/sub>-balance along the entire process chain.<\/strong> Like conventional structures, the monomaterial can be equipped with different functionalities and barrier properties so that the respective products can be packaged in a flavour-safe, airtight manner and with an extended shelf life. Easily integrated, PE-based zipper systems ensure that the pack is easy to open and reseal.<\/p>

At interpack, the high-performance film will be used on the FMH 300 high-speed pouch packaging machine for packaging grated cheese and dried sausage products.<\/strong> The FMH 300 is a horizontally operating pouch packaging machine in a special hygienic design with a rotary table for producing, filling and closing flat and stand-up pouches from the reel (FFS). Naturally, reclosing systems such as zippers can be integrated here.<\/p>

Last but not least, the triplex version of the FMH 300 impresses with its high speed and maximum flexibility thanks to the very large format range. Depending on the product properties and bag size, output quantities of of up to 270 bags per minute<\/strong> reach.<\/p>

All-round sustainability: rigid film concept at Weber Maschinenbau<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Trade fair visitors looking for a material-efficient, recyclable packaging solution for sliced products, piece goods or other fresh products will not be able to avoid the wePack 7000 on the Weber stand. A rigid film concept from S\u00fcdpack will be realised there, consisting of made from the PP-based rigid film Ecoterm and the PP-based top film Multipeel PurePP.<\/strong> The two high-performance films are perfectly matched and can be processed on existing packaging machines without major adjustments, even at high cycle outputs, thanks to their excellent thermoforming properties and machinability.<\/p>

In addition, the innovative material structures offer optimum mechanical and functional properties such as high puncture resistance. Easy opening and resealing of the pack is achieved by using the particularly material-efficient Multipeel film, which covers all functionalities with a thickness of just 80 \u00b5m. The tried-and-tested resealing system also prevents premature spoilage. <\/strong>Multipeel technology therefore also makes a significant contribution to reducing food waste.<\/p>

Both of S\u00fcdpack's concepts are based on monomaterials and are therefore Recyclable as an integrated solution<\/strong>. The production of flow packs can be seen live on the FM 500 horizontal flow pack machine and the production of thermoformed packaging on the TFS 600.<\/p>

The Flow Pack concept centres on the Pure-Line family as a sustainable alternative to conventional Flow Pack films. These monomaterials are designed for efficient processing with high output.<\/strong> Despite their low material thickness, attractive flow packs based on Pure-Line films offer a comparable level of product protection to conventional packaging systems. In contrast to tray packaging, however, material savings of up to 60 per cent can be achieved.<\/p>

The FM 500 from Ulma packs Landj\u00e4ger salami in a modified modified atmosphere. The robust, reliable high-speed machine offers an output of up to 200 packs per minute<\/strong> and is equipped with an LD (Long Dwell) cross-sealing head, which guarantees the airtightness of the packaging even with large quantities thanks to its long sealing time and rotary movement.<\/p>

The recyclable flexible film concept, the second solution that Ulma will be focussing on for trade visitors, is based on the PurePP. Packaging takes place on the hygiene-specified TFS 600. a thermoforming system for the production of MAP and vacuum packaging for a wide variety of foodstuffs<\/strong>, which stands for maximum flexibility and efficiency in the packaging process.<\/p>

The top and bottom sheets from the Pure-Line product family are also perfectly matched to each other in this concept. They are characterised by outstanding thermoforming properties, excellent sealability and good machinability<\/strong> out. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as the packaging of stacked packs, large-volume catering applications or even fresh pasta. \u00a0<\/p>
