The trade fair comeback after a six-year break has been a success! In this interview, interpack Director Thomas Dohse summarises the success of the event.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6437c189 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6437c189\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>It delivered what it promised and exceeded the exhibitors' expectations: from 4 to 10 May, the world's largest and most important packaging trade fair once again set standards, networked the industry on a global level and was both a marketplace and a content hub.<\/p><p>Visitors from 155 countries, many of them with firm investment intentions, came to interpack 2023. 2,807 exhibitors showcased the power and creativity of the packaging industry with their technologies and solutions. In addition to many European countries, the largest visitor nations were India, Japan and the USA. Around 75 per cent belong to middle and upper management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1cd26761 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1cd26761\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The organisers\u201e assessment is underlined by the positive feedback from visitors, over 96% of whom stated that they had achieved their trade fair objectives. The exhibitors were equally satisfied, as their expectations were exceeded in many cases. \u201cWe would like to thank Messe D\u00fcsseldorf for the excellent organisation. A total of 50 talks took place in the Tightly Packed TV studio of interpack and packaging journal, giving the top topics and trends additional visibility and reach through live streams. <b>Over 250,000 viewers <\/b>switched on during the trade fair alone.<\/span><\/p><p>The other special features such as the interpack Start-up Zone, the Co-Packing joint stand, several award ceremonies with exciting packaging innovations, the \u201eSAVE FOOD Highlight Route\u201c with new approaches in the fight against global food loss and waste and the promotion of women at \u201eWomen in Packaging\u201c also attracted a great deal of attention.
