Cologne-based Inficon GmbH is contributing two \u201eContura S400\u201c leak testers to the \u201eRobotik Pack-Line\u201c at \u201eAnuga FoodTec\u201c. Inficon emphasises that the non-destructive testing system will be presented for the first time in the new inline version for packaging lines.<\/p>\n

At the stand of the Robotics Pack-Line\u201e team network\u201c<\/strong> a Modularised packaging line<\/strong> per day 1,000 \u201eTravel snack boxes<\/strong>\u201c packaging. The task of the Inficon component is to randomly check the tightness of the packaging during operation.<\/p>\n

The two \u201eContura S400<\/strong>\u201c devices check the Tightness of the packaging<\/strong>, by creating a vacuum in the test chamber and then measuring any changes in pressure within seconds. As the test is non-destructive, packaging that is found to be good can be reintegrated into the further processing procedure.<\/p>

<\/a> The \u201eContura S400\u201c was developed for the testing of various Types of food packaging<\/strong> optimised. It can be integrated into fully automated systems via the serial interface. However, stand-alone use with manual loading is also possible. At \u201eAnuga FoodTec\u201c, Inficon offers visitors the opportunity to bring their own packaging and have it tested for leaks directly on site.<\/p>\n
