By July 2024 at the latest, closures on beverage packaging must be firmly linked to the packaging as part of the EU directive on single-use plastic packaging. SIG already offers customers corresponding tethered cap solutions such as the MaxxCap Linked closure.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Terra Alegre is the first company in the world to apply the SIG MaxxCap Linked closure to carton packs from SIG<\/a>. When opening, SIG MaxxCap Linked can be fixed in the desired position by pushing it towards the pack until it is in \"park mode\". The cap no longer needs to be held in place. To close the cap, simply lift it slightly before closing it in the usual way. Tethered caps offer convenience when closing, as the cap is always to hand and cannot get lost<\/strong>.<\/p>
