A new HDEP resin for tethered caps is designed to use less material and enable better recovery and recycling - this is what TotalEnergies is announcing with the market launch of HDPE 20HD07 for closure solutions.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The new HDPE 20HD07 has Improved mechanical and organoleptic properties<\/strong>, which make it possible to achieve identical technical performance with less material than conventional closures on the market and thus reduce CO2<\/sub>-footprint of the end applications, such as beverage or cosmetic bottles. In addition, it was developed for mono-material PE packaging solutions to facilitate sorting and recycling<\/strong>, and thus contributes to the circular economy.<\/p>

This new product, which Suitable for applications with food contact<\/strong> fulfils all market requirements for caps and closures. It complies with the European Directive (EU) 2019\/904 on the reduction of the impact of plastic products on the environment.\u00a0<\/p>
