At this year's Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, the manufacturer will be presenting its wide range of high-performance systems for weighing, packaging and quality control.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-packed fresh salads are becoming increasingly popular in the retail sector. Ishida demonstrates their efficient packaging in trays with a high-performance line. The line integrates a CCW-RV multihead weigher customised for the application with a newly developed carousel filling system and a QX-775 Flex traysealer. Typical applications are processed, unevenly shaped or overlapping meat products in the packaging. Alternatively, the weigher can also be used for applications with multi-mixtures and multiple ejections into a package. A 14-head CCW-RV weigher, for example, weighs products such as spices, herbs, dried vegetables, tea leaves or soup ingredients with ultra-small target weights of between 0.5 g and 40 g. With an accuracy of 0.01 g, the machine can achieve speeds of up to 120 weighings per minute. Another 14-head model in the CCW-RV series is ideal for fragile bakery products, which can be processed extremely gently even at high speeds.
