Alpla is expanding its recycling plant in Poland with a third extrusion line. The PET Recycling Team Radomsko is now one of the largest recycling plants in Europe and can increase its production capacity from 30,000 to 54,000 tonnes of food-grade PET recycling material.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The expansion of the recycling plant in Radomsko will secure Alpla<\/a> the long-term supply of food-grade PET recycling material (rPET). The company invests around eight million euros in a modern extrusion line<\/strong>. Ten years after its opening, the PET Recycling Team (PRT) Radomsko is one of the largest recycling plants of its kind in Europe, with a production capacity of 54,000 tonnes of food-grade rPET pellets per year.<\/p>

From 2025, all PET beverage bottles in the EU are to contain at least 25 per cent post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. By expanding its site in Poland, the company is creating the basis for fulfilling the EU requirements in the regional markets. \u201eWe are actively working with our customers to establish closed loops for PET packaging and support them on their sustainability journey. The installation of the third extrusion line in Radomsko creates Twelve additional jobs<\/strong> and expands the team to more than 100 employees. \u201ePRT Radomsko has stood for the highest quality and partnership-based cooperation for more than ten years.
