Years later, when mechanical looms were replacing hand weaving and cotton was increasingly replacing domestic linen, <strong>the Leuze family took textile production into their own hands<\/strong>. These origins gave rise to a recognised textile company that has been successfully steered and developed over generations through all the perils of time.<\/p><blockquote><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201eIn 1861, our ancestors found exactly the conditions they needed to set up a mechanical cotton weaving and spinning mill in the Lenningen valley.\u201c<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Helmut Leuze<\/strong>, shareholder of the Leuze Group<\/p><\/blockquote><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leuze electronic started out in 1963 and is now an international sensor expert. This corresponds to an increase in turnover of around 25 per cent. The family-owned company also has ambitious growth targets for the future.
