When it comes to recycling plastics, there are always discussions about chemical and mechanical recycling, as not all plastics can be recycled mechanically. PreZero and Shell have entered into a co-operation to work on solutions for the chemical recycling of plastics.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

PreZero<\/a> will be his Experience in the collection, sorting and processing of plastics<\/strong> to develop new solutions for the selection and conversion of waste into plastic recyclates. Shell<\/a> becomes new drive forward technologies that enable plastic waste to be converted into its chemical components.<\/strong> which in turn can be used for the production of new plastics. The first joint initiative from the agreed collaboration is already being developed in the Netherlands.<\/p>

\u201eMany European countries are currently significantly increasing their recycling targets for plastics. To achieve these targets, we not only need to increase the capacity of our recycling plants, but also diversify the types of plastic waste we can process. Our new project offers new opportunities for recycling, as we are working with material that would otherwise end up as waste.\u201c<\/p>
