At Labelexpo Europe 2023, Screen will be showcasing the prototype development of a digital inline inkjet primer for its Truepress Label press and digital inkjet printing of paper packaging. The co-operation between the two companies Screen and Nilpeter, which The latest generation of technology<\/strong> is designed to fulfil the requirements of the labelling and packaging industry with a robust and reliable combined solution with high print quality.<\/p>

The new integrated digital printing solution combines the technology of the new Truepress Label 350UV SAI from Screen with the FA-Line flexo press from Nilpeter. The Truepress Label prints up to seven colours and extends the colour gamut with high-quality white printing.<\/strong> The inline solution, which is integrated into Nilpeter's FA-Line printing platform and finishing solutions, enables the efficient production of finished, high-quality labels.<\/p>

Screen also announces the prototype development of a digital inline inkjet primer for its Truepress Label 350UV SAI label press, which will be exhibited worldwide for the first time at Labelexpo Europe 2023. This Primer to overcome one of the biggest challenges in UV inkjet digital printing<\/strong>, namely the poor ink adhesion on certain substrates.<\/p>

Until now, the problem of poor ink adhesion was solved by offline pre-treatment of the substrate before label printing. Screen will also be presenting its Truepress PAC 520P for digital inkjet printing of paper packaging at Labelexpo Europe 2023. The Trend towards reducing the amount of plastic in packaging<\/strong> and the use of equivalent paper-based substitute materials has gained considerable momentum. <\/p>

In response to these market trends, Screen is pressing ahead with product planning for its Truepress PAC 520P. This high-speed digital press for water-based inkjet printing on paper-based packaging materials has a lower environmental impact than conventional printing processes. The Truepress PAC 520P works with the vneu developed water-based pigment inks<\/strong>, that comply with the relevant food safety regulations.<\/p>
