The powerPrint large format printer opens up new fields of application for additive manufacturing. They are removed from the front through a door or by crane via a folding roof of the heat-resistant enclosure. Print jobs can be changed quickly thanks to vacuum-fixed printing plates. With the Print on Demand service, which KraussMaffei also offers in addition to purchasing, customers can test the possibilities. Applications are designed and then printed according to customer specifications and technical possibilities, with the company also taking care of post-processing. In this way, powerPrint has already implemented several components, such as a moulding tool for the vacuum infusion process, a sand casting mould or a charging column.<\/p>
