In his new position, he succeeds Dr Frank Sandfort, who has managed the company on an interim basis in recent months and is now taking over as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the family-owned company again.<\/p><p>Founded in 1938, L\u00f6dige revolutionised mixing and processing technology with the invention of the ploughshare mixer, patented in 1949.
