Voting is now open for the audience award of this year's Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Pro Carton Student Video Award. This has now been announced by Pro Carton, the European Association of the Cartonboard and Folding Carton Industry.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

24 carton packaging concepts designed by students at universities across Europe<\/strong> were shortlisted for this year's award, which was presented to the Pro Carton Young Designers Award<\/a>, which is sponsored by the well-known Turkish folding carton manufacturer Duran Dogan and the leading Turkish carton manufacturer Kartonsan. In addition eight interesting and extremely creative videos<\/strong> for the Pro Carton Student Video Award<\/a> nominated.<\/p>

A total of over 850 contributions from organisations from all over Europe<\/strong> which were assessed by renowned judges. The judging panel for the Pro Carton Young Designers Award included Satkar Gidda, former Sales and Marketing Director of SiebertHead, Sanjeev Das, Global Packaging Director of Food and Ice Cream at Unilever, Alican Duran, Managing Director of Duran Dogan and Chairman of KASAD, and Kemal Ozkirim, Marketing Director of Kartonsan.\u00a0<\/p>

The candidates for the Pro Carton Student Video Award were nominated by Simon Bolton, board member of the Scandinavian agencies Everland, Kontrapunkt and Kapero, Bady Minck, director and producer, and Winfried M\u00fchling, Director of Marketing and Communications at Pro Carton.<\/p>

Industry experts, university representatives and the general public are now being called upon, to cast their votes for their favourites,<\/strong> to honour these talented designers and filmmakers of the next generation.<\/p>

The winner of the Audience Award will be on 21 September 2023 at the awards gala in Seville, Spain<\/strong> was announced together with the winners of other award categories and the prestigious European Carton Excellence Award. <\/p>

\u201eThe quality of the entries for the Pro Carton Young Designers Award and the Pro Carton Student Video Award gives us confidence, that the future of our industry is in good hands<\/strong>. The judges of the Pro Carton Young Designers Award, who represent the entire cartonboard value chain, found it difficult to nominate the finalists given the large number of talented designers who came forward with innovative and functional packaging. And the short films we received demonstrate outstanding technical skills and masterfully explore the benefits of cartonboard as an environmentally and recycling-friendly packaging material.\u201c<\/p>
