The Rhine-Ruhr region is to become a central location for the circular economy. The Circular Valley Foundation is committed to this and is now expanding the network with another partner. Henkel has joined the initiative.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The aim of the Circular Valley Accelerator programme is to To further develop the Rhine-Ruhr region as an attractive location for young companies and researchers in the field of the circular economy<\/strong>. The strategic alliance offers Henkel the opportunity to make contact with start-ups and scientists from all over the world and to further expand its own local network in the Rhine-Ruhr region.<\/p><\/div>

\u201eThe partnership with Circular Valley enables us to pursue our ambitions in the circular economy with a strong partner. We are particularly pleased to be able to support scientists and young companies from the region at the same time. Together, we will exchange ideas with them on new technologies and innovative approaches, share knowledge and best practices and provide new impetus to join forces to drive forward the transformation towards a circular economy.\u201c<\/p>

The network of Circular Valley<\/a> belong beside Handle<\/a> other companies, scientific institutions and more than 70 start-ups that have been supported by the initiative to date. Twice a year, a new group of international start-ups launch the \u201eCircular Economy Accelerator Programme\u201c in the extended Rhine-Ruhr region, which is promoted and supported by the network partners, among others. \u00a0<\/p>

The charitable foundation based in Wuppertal works across industries and technologies to close material cycles along existing value chains and develop policy recommendations<\/strong> and to inform the public about the circular economy in the long term.<\/p><\/div>

\u201eHenkel will be a great new partner for our network and at an ideal time. For the next phase of the funding programme, which begins in late summer, we have specifically called for applications from young start-ups that develop circular solutions for consumer goods packaging. The dialogue with our new partner Henkel will be very exciting for both sides.\u201c<\/p>
