In September, hubergroup Print Solutions will be showcasing services for the printing industry at Labelexpo in Brussels. Among other things, the company will be presenting three innovative series for flexographic printing.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What the three series iray, HYDRO-X and Gecko have in common is a system approach, a sustainable formulation and a wide range of services.\u00a0<\/p>

The UV flexo series iray is the latest series in the company's range. It was only recently launched on the market and replaces the NewV flex series. The background to this relaunch is the Improved product performance and expansion into a complete system<\/strong>, which contains all the products required for UV flexo printing. The portfolio now also includes primers, laminating adhesives and low-migration printing inks and varnishes to offer customers a perfectly harmonised product range. The products cover a wide range of food and non-food applications and are characterised by High scratch resistance, good adhesion, low odour values and high-yield colours<\/strong> out. With the help of numerous laboratory tests huber<\/span>group<\/a> also ensures that the printing inks and varnishes are deinkable on film and paper.<\/p>

In addition, the company will be presenting Labelexpo<\/a> its water-based portfolio. The HYDRO-X modular colour mixing system consists of colour concentrates, mixtures and additives that are matched to each other and can be freely combined.<\/strong> can be printed. This makes it suitable for a wide range of flexographic and gravure printing applications - from flexible packaging made of paper, aluminium or plastic film to corrugated cardboard or folding cartons. As part of the HYDRO-X Green Line Premium series, all Colour combinations also available with exclusively Cradle to Cradle certified components<\/strong>.<\/p>

The water-based portfolio is complemented by the water-based coatings in the HYDRO-LAC series. Depending on the requirements protective properties such as heat and abrasion resistance or physical properties such as anti-roll and anti-slip properties<\/strong> available. A particular highlight are the water-based barrier coatings HYDRO-LAC GA Oxygen Barrier Coating and HYDRO-X GA Water Barrier Coating, which improve the oxygen and water and grease resistance of mono-material packaging.\u00a0<\/p>

The third product range in the group is the solvent-based brand Gecko, which stands for reliability and printability. The careful selection of raw materials and the modular structure of Gecko ensure Wide range of applications - from polyolefin food packaging and aluminium packaging to flexible films for outdoor storage<\/strong>. According to the systems approach of huber<\/span>group, the portfolio also includes coatings, additives and primers, so that customers receive all the necessary products from a single source. When developing Gecko, the printing ink specialist also focussed on sustainability and recyclability. As part of the Gecko Green Line Premium series, the printing inks therefore also have Cradle to Cradle Certified Bronze certification<\/strong> available.<\/p>
