KHS has been awarded gold status in the EcoVadis rating for the first time. The systems provider for the beverage and liquid food industry was able to improve its result compared to the last audit and make progress in the evaluated categories.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

KHS<\/a> has been taking part in the annual audit of the globally recognised certification platform for sustainability performance since 2012. EcoVadis<\/a> characterised the Dortmund system provider Seven silver and two bronze medals<\/strong> from.<\/p>

EcoVadis assesses the sustainability performance of companies based on the four key criteria: environment, ethics, sustainable procurement and labour and human rights<\/strong>. KHS was able to improve significantly in all areas compared to the previous year. The systems supplier achieved the greatest increase in the sustainable procurement category with a plus of 20 points. KHS also improved its previous year's results in the areas of environment, labour and human rights and ethics by 10 points each. \u201eThrough targeted measures, we have demonstrated that we are transferring important requirements into processes and thus turning them into fixed parameters of practised sustainability,\u201c says Acker.<\/p>

According to the EcoVadis rating, KHS is one of the best 2 per cent of companies in the general machinery manufacturing sector<\/strong>.
