The inner coating is biodegradable and renewable.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8db2a86 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8db2a86\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\"><div class=\"layoutArea\"><div class=\"column\"><p>After years of perfecting its own microfibrillated cellulose product, Curran , made from the waste stream of root vegetables, Scotland-based CelluComp and Asia-based RyPax, which makes moulded fibre packaging, are driving the industry forward by developing the<strong> Combining the production of plant-based packaging with a highly renewable raw material<\/strong>\u00a0- for a bottle consisting only of fibres.<\/p><p>The important step was the development of a <strong>innovative cellulose fibre made from a blend of curran, bamboo and bagasse<\/strong>. This material is strong and has minimal porosity. In the future, RyPax and CelluComp will work closely with DTI <strong>explore further fibre packaging solutions, including fibre screw threads, closures, even thinner coatings<\/strong> and a more
