At Labelexpo, Henkel will be showcasing its portfolio of pressure-sensitive adhesives for labels. These include mineral oil-free adhesives, UV acrylate solutions, speciality products for linerless labels and wash-off products designed to increase recycling efficiency.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Growing awareness of the potential risks of petroleum hydrocarbons in food contact applications is attracting the attention of consumers and legislators alike. On the Labelexpo Europe<\/a> becomes Handle<\/a> his Innovations in the field of mineral oil-free hotmelt PSAs<\/strong> introduce. Technomelt PS 3500 was developed for the label market and is a hot melt PSA that utilises an increased bio content for a MOSH and MOAH safe formulation that provides robust adhesion to many substrates.<\/p>

Easier removability of labels is a key factor in increasing the recyclability of plastic bottles for beverages and household products. The company shows water-based adhesives that are suitable for various substrates<\/strong> are. These include the Aquence PS RE range of water-based acrylic adhesives for PET bottles, which enable safe handling and storage. Henkel's latest generation of water-based acrylics for wash-off labels Aquence PS 3017 RE, which will be presented at the show, has recently been successfully qualified for Henkel consumer brands.<\/p>

Henkel will also be showcasing its range of PSA hotmelts for linerless applications, particularly for clear and thermal labels. The new Adhesives not only reduce the weight of packaging<\/strong>, They not only minimise the need for a carrier material, but also enable greater efficiency in production.<\/p>

Henkel's stand at Labelexpo Europe will provide an overview of the wide range of pressure-sensitive adhesives for labels. This includes Sustainable, water-based solutions for labels from the Aquence PS adhesive range<\/strong>, tailored to a wide range of applications and substrates. Also on display will be Henkel's Locitite Duro-Tak range of pressure sensitive adhesives, an innovative and dynamic UV portfolio that offers a wide range of performance features designed to meet a variety of manufacturing challenges. The Duro-Tak portfolio includes printable UV acrylic solutions, including a removable adhesive, Loctite Duro-Tak UV 4903, and UV 4909 for permanent applications.<\/p>
