Koenig & Bauer is celebrating the 175th anniversary of its Austrian site this year. International guests came to Maria Enzersdorf for the celebrations and were given an insight into the work on site.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

100 national and international guests were welcomed to Maria Enzersdorf for the opening of the celebrations on 14 September, the official ceremony. In addition to speeches by Maria Enzersdorf's mayor DI Johann Zeiner, Koenig & Bauer<\/a> Dr Andreas Ple\u00dfke and the two managing directors of Koenig & Bauer (AT), Rudolf Vogl and Robert Galik, emphasised the economic importance of the company for the district of M\u00f6dling as well as for the company - in the past centuries and in the future. Insight into printing press production at the site<\/strong>.<\/p>

\u201eKoenig & Bauer is an important part of the Austrian economy and a role model for sustainability. The company makes an important contribution to strengthening the business location and creating jobs.\u201c<\/p>

In his speech, Dr Andreas Ple\u00dfke praised in particular the innovative strength that has always emanated from the Austrian location: \u201eSuccessful cooperation with our international companies and locations is an important pillar of the Koenig & Bauer Group. In M\u00f6dling we have the Specialisation in security printing machines<\/strong> and has been continuously optimised in recent years.\u201d<\/p>

On 15 September, a staff party was held to look back on the joint successes of recent years and decades. The grand finale was the open day on 16 September. Over 1,200 visitors were welcomed. A colourful audience of business partners, people from the surrounding area and print enthusiasts were given an insight into the company at various stations. As part of the long-established Koenig & Bauer group of companies, the Austrian site in Maria Enzersdorf, district of M\u00f6dling, specialises in the We specialise in the assembly of security printing presses and the associated customer support, as well as the sales and service of sheetfed offset presses<\/strong> in the representation area.<\/p>

\u201eIn our 175 years of company history, there have of course been numerous changes and developments - thanks to our adaptability, we have always managed to break new ground. In recent years, we have focussed in particular on cycle assembly based on a new logistics and provisioning concept in order to make production processes as effective and efficient as possible. Among other things, we want to achieve the sustainability goals we have set ourselves.\u201c<\/p>
