At this year's BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, KHS will be presenting solutions from its portfolio of filling technology and packaging systems. The modular Innofill Glass DRS ECO filling system and the Nature MultiPack secondary packaging system will take centre stage.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Most recently, the trade fair in Nuremberg 2019 attracted around 40,000 visitors from 138 countries. For the KHS<\/a> as the second-largest exhibitor, is reason enough to present its latest developments to the global beverage industry, as Kai Acker, CEO of KHS GmbH, emphasises: \u201eWe are very much looking forward to finally returning to Nuremberg after a long time and convincing the international trade audience of our sustainable and profitable solutions.\u201c<\/p>

This is where the company has started with the Innofill Glass DRS ECO. Since its launch in 2019, the modular glass filler has already been used many times around the world. The key to its success is the special Evacuation and CO2<\/sub>-Rinsing process for glass bottles<\/strong>. During pre-evacuation, air - and therefore oxygen - is first extracted from the containers before they are then filled with a precisely dosed amount of CO2<\/sub> be rinsed. The machine can be less oxygen into the beer and requires up to 60 per cent less CO2<\/sub><\/strong>. The lower the CO2-<\/sub>consumption per filled bottle, the more efficient the filling process is. \u201eLow-oxygen filling raises product quality to a new level and ensures optimum beer enjoyment,\u201c explains Acker.<\/p>

At the trade fair, KHS will also be focussing on the Reduction of packaging material<\/strong>. Following the successful introduction of a universal adhesive for beverage cans, the company now also offers this simplification for plastic bottles.<\/strong> on. As one of the most environmentally friendly secondary packaging solutions on the market, an adhesive is also available for PET containers that can be used for almost all shapes, sizes and material thicknesses. This is made possible by a special process in which the adhesive is foamed onto the containers during application.<\/p>

The new solution also increases convenience for consumers by making it easier to separate the bottles. Furthermore, the outer wall of the PET container is subjected to less stress when the pack is opened, meaning that overloading and damage can be practically ruled out, even with lightweight bottles with very thin walls.<\/p>

This year's appearance will also focus on the digital service portfolio<\/strong>. With ReDiS (Remote Diagnostic Service), the system provider already offers a highly efficient method of remote maintenance. This allows system faults to be analysed and rectified and software updates and changed system parameters to be transferred at any time in consultation with the customer. With its ARS (Augmented Reality Service), KHS offers an additional Support for time- and cost-saving problem solving<\/strong>. True to the principle of \u201eI see what you see\u201c, virtual data glasses (smart glasses) worn by the user provide a precise picture of the situation and contribute to rapid system availability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The company is also going digital when it comes to training: in addition to the tried-and-tested offerings on site or in the KHS training centres worldwide, which are now also available online, the systems supplier is going digital with the virtual training centre<\/strong> the next step towards modern and flexible forms of learning<\/strong>. Here, customers can independently and playfully learn how to operate and regularly maintain the machines around the clock. The training courses under the KHS Campus brand thus become a complete blended learning programme with comprehensive training, further education and personnel development measures.<\/p>
