The new QX-500 tray sealer from Ishida has won the prize in the \u201eInnovative Packaging Machinery\u201c category at the PPMA Group Industry Awards 2023. The British Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) presents the prestigious award each year to solutions that contribute to a significant increase in productivity and cost reduction.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

High-performance, energy-efficient, sustainable and compact - with the new QX-500 tray sealer, Ishida meets the requirements of the food industry to maximise yield and output without compromising on product or packaging quality, and minimise the environmental impact at the same time<\/strong>. The development of the packaging machine is based on feedback from Ishida's customers and partners worldwide.<\/p>

Compared to conventional tray sealers, the QX-500 tray sealer offers 66 per cent more speed and 50 per cent less energy consumption<\/strong>. At the same time, the machine has a space-saving design that reduces its dimensions by 46 per cent and its weight by 44 per cent. Users can Many sealing options to choose from and numerous tray shapes and materials<\/strong> process<\/strong>. The QX-500 achieves an output of up to 25 cycles per minute for pure sealing, which means an output of up to 100 trays. MAP packaging is produced at a speed of up to 17 cycles per minute.<\/p>

The IntelliSeal system from Ishida creates a high quality seal and at the same time allows the packaging to be opened easily. A new tray feed and transfer system ensures gentle handling.<\/strong> In this way, a high degree of accuracy is achieved during sealing and the product always remains in the tray. The use of highly efficient servomotors minimises energy consumption. During production, the appliance automatically monitors power consumption and ensures the most energy-efficient setting.<\/p>
