From 22 to 24 November, the international processing and packaging industry will once again be drawn to the booming metropolis of Shanghai. Around 900 exhibitors will present themselves at the Shanghai World of Packaging (swop), bringing together well-known packaging companies and experts from China and around the world. <\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

For the fourth time in a row, swop and the \u201eHome of Packaging\u201c platform are jointly organising the FMCG Pavilion. Here you can find packaging for the huge market of fast-moving consumer goods.<\/strong> Two particular focal points are solutions for everyday products and food and beverage packaging. The \u201eFMCG Infinity Zone\u201c showcases bestsellers in terms of sustainability.<\/p>

In view of the constantly changing FMCG market and changing consumer habits, how can you quickly gain the attention of consumers? In co-operation with swop, \u201eSivapack Studio\u201c pools the strengths of designers to present current successful packaging designs and forward-looking packaging concepts. All this is available in the special \u201ePackaging Design and Marketing\u201c area\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>

Another highlight is the \u201eAI Drives the Future\u201c forum.<\/strong> The focus here is on the impact of artificial intelligence on global trends in packaging development from a marketing and design perspective.<\/p>

In the \u201eSmart Packaging & Personalised Packaging Equipment Zone\u201c, visitors can experience Automated production systems to reduce costs and increase efficiency.<\/strong> Around 300 suppliers of packaging machines and systems are represented here. In addition, there is a special segment on ready meals and packaging for fresh food, in which advanced technologies for extending shelf life are presented.<\/p>

On the swop<\/a> the SAVE FOOD initiative of Messe D\u00fcsseldorf and interpack will not only draw attention to the reduction of food loss and waste, but also emphasise the importance of sustainable design for this purpose. For the first time, the SAVE FOOD DESIGN and SUSTAINABILITY DESIGN AWARD will be presented among the exhibitors,<\/strong> to recognise innovative solutions in these areas.<\/p>
