With the 300S+ high-speed control system, Yaskawa is opening up interesting prospects, particularly for the replacement of existing solutions. This is because IOs and accessories are fully compatible with the previously market-dominating system<\/strong>. All hardware components can therefore be exchanged 1:1 and used in parallel in mixed operation.<\/p>

The CPUs can also continue to be used largely unchanged, so that the existing software can remain in place.<\/strong> Yaskawa provides special support for the corresponding adaptations in the CPUs.<\/p>

Users, but also machine builders and maintenance engineers, benefit from long-term investment security with the 300S+ control system in another respect: not only for the new components, but also for the new control system. Yaskawa grants a warranty period of 36 months for the entire extended control system.<\/strong> As a further advantage, all components are available directly from stock and Available until at least 2030<\/strong>. The 300S+ high-speed control system from Yaskawa has proven itself in countless machines worldwide over the last 20 years or so and has been continuously developed further. The current version is around ten times faster than comparable systems<\/strong>. The PLC CPUs offer a significantly larger memory size of up to 8 MB (fully remanent) and more additional benefits than the previous models, and at a lower price. Up to 32 expansion modules are possible per station.<\/p>

Particular flexibility in use and application is guaranteed, for example, by matching front connectors for the integrated I\/O channels and the Option to use standard SD cards as external storage media.<\/strong> In addition, the system fulfils high demands in terms of clever memory management, data security and comprehensive communication capability via modern protocols, for example through an integrated Ethernet connection and a wide variety of supported buses.<\/p>
