At the end of November, the German Packaging Institute invites you to the Dresden Packaging Conference. From 30 November to 1 December, stakeholders from industry, brands, trade, science and research will meet. There will be presentations and discussions under the motto \u201ePackaging between regulation and new beginnings with intelligence\u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201eThe Dresden Packaging Conference has a special flair and it has special added value. It is the special Dresden mix of very valuable presentations and insights in combination with a diverse and exciting group of participants. In pre-Christmas Dresden, you will meet experienced colleagues from the entire value chain, as well as founders of highly innovative start-ups and, last but not least, students from German-speaking countries. \u201eOn the first day, our speakers will shed light on the European regulations for packaging. They will show you, when and how sustainable packaging development also pays off financially, discuss the sustainable use of plastics<\/strong>, provide insights into the ongoing research projects, are dedicated to property testing for plastics, explain how sustainability in packaging machine construction, talk about machine manoeuvrability and adaptive flow-wrapping processes<\/strong> and provide information on the benefits of innovative knowledge management during the induction period for employees,\u201c informs Winfried Batzke.<\/p>

The second day starts with insights into the Knowledge transfer in the print and media industry with the help of artificial intelligence and the topic of cardboard packaging<\/strong>. \u201eIn the topic block \u201eInnovations in start-ups and brands\u201c, we will then present innovative approaches and practicable ways of implementing the forthcoming reusable packaging quotas of the Packaging Ordinance.<\/strong> and how software can contribute to the management of international applications. You will then gain insights into the topic of New materials for the circular economy and sustainability<\/strong>\u201c, announces Batzke. The conference will conclude with three success stories of circular packaging from the food, beverage and personal care sectors.<\/p>
