Kiefel GmbH, manufacturer of machines, automation systems and tools for processing polymers and natural fibres, is now presenting the new Speedformer KMD 78.2 Premium, a steel strip machine for the production of thermoformed packaging made of polymers.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The new solution is faster and more precise than its predecessor, the KMD 78.1 Premium, and offers new features that allow customers to work even more efficiently. Production of trays, containers, hinged boxes, pallets, blisters, lids and technical application products<\/strong> enable.<\/p>

\u201eThe KMD 78.2 Premium not only has improved performance features, but also enables quick and easy tool changes, which facilitates film changes between production runs and increases machine utilisation.\u201c<\/p>

The KMD 78.2 Premium for the production of plastic packaging has the same mould area as its predecessor and features a larger vacuum and moulding air system as well as more powerful servo drives<\/strong> for the moulding, punching and cutting stations. These improved capabilities lead to ahigher production speed, which can reach up to 45 cycles per minute.<\/strong> and leads to higher output.<\/p>

Some of the main advantages of the KMD 78.2 Premium are its proven performance and process control thanks to the Servo motor drives for tables, pre-stretching punches, film transport and stack pushers<\/strong>. The new KMD 78.2 Premium offers customers the opportunity to achieve even higher production speeds with its updated, faster Pick&Place Inline. An additional servo A\/B pusher is also available. This Pick&Place Inline is a a dual stacking system where an existing up-stacking tool can be used.<\/strong> The tried-and-tested up-stacker has an improved servo drive. The pusher & A\/B pusher drive with servo motors can be selected as an option. Other customisable stacking solutions are also available, such as the innovative tip stacker - available exclusively from Kiefel - and the easy-to-operate down stacker.<\/p>

This high degree of flexibility makes the KMD 78.2 Premium a versatile machine that is customised to the customer's production requirements.<\/strong> can be used. In addition, the user-friendly HMI with large touchscreen and reliable functionality enables convenient operation, while the smarter lubrication and additional diagnostic functions facilitate machine maintenance. <\/p>
