From 8 to 10 November, the trade fair for mechanical engineering will take place in Bad Salzuflen and offer impulses for machine manufacturers and suppliers. In times of supply chain problems, mechanical engineering companies continue to look for cooperation and partners in various fields of technology.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Around 300 exhibitors will be showcasing the entire spectrum of the supplier industry - many from the region, but many also from the southern half of Germany or the Netherlands, for example. Metal and plastics processing are also strongly represented<\/strong> such as assembly and handling technology, drive technology, electrical engineering\/electronics and industry-related services.<\/p>

\u201eThe strength of mechanical engineering in our region is also due to the intensive cooperation with suppliers, who are strongly represented here. For twenty years, the FMB has been the platform for bringing mechanical engineering companies and suppliers together - a platform that has long since spread beyond OWL.\u201c<\/p>

During this time, the FMB has not only grown continuously. It has repeatedly integrated new focus topics such as the surface technology and - for the first time this year - special machine construction<\/strong>. Under the label \u201cSoMa Club\u201d, the companies A.H. Meyer Maschinenfabrik, BISONTEC, EMG, Schrage Maschinen- und Apparatebau, B+S Engineering, HARTING Applied Technologies, Werges Maschinenbau, Ottemeier Werkzeug- und Maschinentechnik and Silberhorn Maschinenbau have joined forces to further promote the topic of special machine construction.<\/p>

The FMB thus addresses the key issues currently affecting the mechanical engineering industry and its suppliers, both on the exhibition floor and in the lecture programme. The This year's key topics are: AI and digitalisation, sustainability and efficiency, training and careers<\/strong>. Petrusch continues: \u201eIn addition to individual presentations, there will also be keynote speeches and a panel discussion with experts on each topic - and visitors will receive inspiration that they can apply in their company.\u201c<\/p>

Impulses that reach far into the future will also be communicated at the large joint stand of the it's OWL cluster of excellence. There, the participating Universities practical examples from project work<\/strong>. The consulting services offered by the Mittelstand- Digital Zentrum Ruhr-OWL, which will be presenting itself at the FMB and supporting mechanical engineering companies with digitalisation projects, are at least as practice-oriented. \u201eDigitalisation is a focal point both in the lecture programme and for many exhibitors. FMB is the right place for anyone looking for comprehensive information on this topic with a view to implementation in the company.\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>

Another highlight: \u201eEngineers Without Borders\u201c will be at the FMB for the first time. \u201eIt really is a matter close to our hearts to give this very good organisation a stage. This is real development aid that gets through,\u201c says Petrusch.<\/p>
