Hoffmann Neopac has been recognised in Canmaker Magazine's annual competition for two of its recently launched can solutions. In particular, the company's resealable, airtight metal lid received a Gold Award in the \u201eEnds, Caps & Closures\u201c competition category.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The airtight metal lid was developed in collaboration with the customer and consists of a food-safe compound<\/strong>, which makes it ideal for coffee and other dry products. In countries with high humidity, the products suffered from a short shelf life after the first opening. Hoffmann's latest metal lid for 3-piece cans with a diameter of 73 mm seals well and guarantees freshness and refillability. The packaging is also fully recyclable in the metal stream.<\/p>

The freshness guarantee of the lid is due to the precise placement of a food-safe sealing ring<\/strong> which presses on the edge of the can container when it is closed. The lids can be embossed for a customised design and are also available as Green Steel version<\/strong>, which causes 70 per cent less CO2 emissions. The lid is also stackable, which makes it easier to store and transport the cans.<\/p>

In the Prototyping category, Hoffmann received a Bronze Award for its child-resistant all-metal can with high barrier<\/strong>. The fully recyclable tins are ideal for various products where child safety is a must, e.g. medical cannabis as well as certain foods and cosmetics. The all-metal tins are the second generation of CR cans<\/strong> of the company. The first generation still contained plastic inserts. By switching to an all-metal construction, the cans are not only easier to recycle, but also keep fresh and offer protection from light.<\/p>

The all-metal CR cans from Hoffmann Neopac are lightweight, robust and can be labelled or printed using the offset process. Both the lid and the body of the can can be decorated so that Sufficient space for branding and the necessary safety instructions<\/strong> is present. The cans also protect the flavour and integrity of the product and are easy to fill, refill and reseal by hand. Above all, however, they protect children from unplanned ingestion of a product.<\/p>
