The PP polymer from Sabic's Trucircle portfolio has a certified renewable content of 25 per cent and offers the critical properties of dimensional stability and heat resistance that are required when microwaving rice directly in the bowl.<\/p><p>In addition, the <strong>used trays are sent for PP recycling<\/strong> to recover their material value and enable a circular packaging industry. CJ has already started to introduce the new Hetbahn rice trays in E-Mart shops, one of the largest grocery chains in South Korea.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u201eWe are delighted to launch our very first ISCC PLUS certified food packaging with renewable PP from Sabic. They are produced in accordance with the mass balance recommendations of the International Sustainability &amp; Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS programme, which sets out a series of transparent rules for tracking the flow of materials in complex supply chains from source material to end use.<\/p><p>The resulting certified renewable compounds are part of the Trucircle portfolio and Sabic's
