Packaging can be allocated more precisely to the appropriate fractions in the sorting plant, which helps with high-quality recycling.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-30c487c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"30c487c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3166d02 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3166d02\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A central challenge of plastics recycling is the <strong>Lack of standardised recycling infrastructure<\/strong> with regard to the collection, sorting and recycling of plastic packaging. Therefore <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=ALDI\"><span class=\"searchHighlight\">Aldi<\/span><\/a> already a member of the initiative since 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=HolyGrail+2.0&amp;cat=-1&amp;date-all=all&amp;begin=&amp;end=\">HolyGrail 2.0<\/a>. The aim of the initiative is to <strong>test the technical feasibility of digital watermarks<\/strong>, to promote the sorting of plastic packaging and thus improve its recyclability. With a corresponding sorting study, the initiative with the participation of <span class=\"searchHighlight\">Aldi<\/span> is currently in its third phase.<\/p><p>A total of 18 different kefir and yoghurt packs from the <span class=\"searchHighlight\">Aldi<\/span>MILSANI own brand labelled with digital watermarks. The first products labelled with the invisible codes are already available in shops. The digital watermarks, which are applied to the packaging, contain, among other things <strong>Information on the packaging material<\/strong>. In recycling plants, special cameras ensure that the relevant data is read out and the <strong>Packaging sorted more precisely into the individual waste streams<\/strong> to promote high-quality
