The company, which once started out in a garage, is now a globally active group with more than 80 subsidiaries. CEO Christian Traumann has been with the company for 20 years and has witnessed many of the developments and changes that are currently taking place in the industry. The CEO spoke to packaging journal about artificial intelligence (AI) and the transformation from a mechanical engineering company to a technology group.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f956c1 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f956c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote><p>\u201eWhen I arrived in 2002, we were a pearl, a real mechanical engineering pearl, albeit without any internationalisation, and we then took it forward. Today, we have over 80 sales companies and 14 additional production companies. We changed soon enough and now offer solutions for processing, portioning, quality assurance and end-of-line. Everyone is talking about digitalisation.
