Multi-stage production steps, packaging and finally securing the packages for transport - partial or full automation of the packaging line holds a lot of potential, especially in industrial areas with high volumes. \u201eWhen different machines come together and need to work together seamlessly, it is crucial that they are compatible with each other and with additional equipment such as conveyor technology. With the SoniXs TR-Connect, we will be presenting one of our high-performance machines at LogiMAT, which can be easily integrated into complex IoT applications. We will also be using the SoniXs MP-6 T as an application example to show what a fully automated packaging process for our strapping machines with a robotic arm from Pinger Robotic can look like.\u201c\u00a0<\/p>

The SoniXs TR-Connect already comes with a comprehensive digital package. As the successor model to the SoniXs TR-6 Pro and SoniXs TR-6 Base, it has been on the market since 2023. It is equipped with an integrated WebHMI as standard and can be operated via a LAN interface on the machine using customer devices or optionally via a tablet attached to the machine. Users can also control important parameters such as the View performance, current strapping settings and availability<\/strong> and flexibly adapt to your requirements. The data generated by the machine can also be used to comprehensively analyse performance and predict maintenance intervals.<\/p>

With the SoniXs MP-6 T Mosca<\/a> another machine for the Strapping of individual cartons and packages<\/strong> on the LogiMAT<\/a> out. As a table-top model, it is usually loaded manually with packages from a minimum width of 60 centimetres. In the application at LogiMAT, however, the strapping machine requires no human operation at all. The solution: a robotic arm from Pinger Robotic stands alongside the SoniXs MP-6 T and flexibly loads it with small packages. Through the use of robotics turns a stand-alone machine into part of a fully automated line<\/strong> - a cost-effective option.<\/p>

The robot is also particularly flexible when it comes to transporting the cartons. It can insert them lengthways or crossways into the SoniXs MP-6 T as required. If particularly secure cross strapping is required, the robot inserts a package, removes it after strapping, turns it and repositions it in the machine.<\/p>

\u201eThanks to their high flexibility and small footprint, robotic solutions such as the robot arm exhibited at LogiMAT can be an exciting alternative to rigid conveyor technology.\u201c<\/p>

Once individual products have been bundled or cartons securely closed, there is often still one important step missing in intra- and retail logistics: combining and securing the products on pallets. Mosca is presenting two solutions from its product portfolio: The Saturn S6 stretch wrapping machine and the KZV-111 strapping machine. 120 loaded pallets per hour for transport<\/strong> and is therefore suitable for high production throughputs. At the trade fair, a load unit enters the bestseller from Mosca subsidiary Movitec. The load unit is then wrapped from the outside by a stretch wrapper ring without having to be moved again. The Saturn S6 is particularly for smaller individual products Cardboard packaging<\/strong> The stretch wrap film provides additional protection against the weather.<\/p>

On the other side of the roller conveyor, the KZV-111 is waiting for orders at LogiMAT. It straps a package efficiently and with low emissions within 12 seconds thanks to SoniXs ultrasonic technology. The tongue of the strap guide frame moves through the pallet base and the unit approaches the load unit from above. The KZV-111 is available in Different variants with hinge guide tongue or closed hinge frame<\/strong> depending on whether palletised or non-palletised products are to be strapped. It is particularly suitable for palletised goods that are already packed in boxes and do not require additional water protection.<\/p>
