The solutions are designed for this purpose, <strong>replace non-recyclable packaging for various applications, from wet wipes packaging to fabric softener bags<\/strong>. The packaging manufacturer won this award in the \u2018Packaging materials and components\u2018 category in close cooperation with a customer, which represents significant progress in the promotion of sustainable packaging and recyclability within the industry.<\/p>\n<p>The lightweight mono-polyethylene (PE) laminate EcoLamHighPlus is suitable for a wide range of packaging applications. It has a strong resistance to oxygen and water vapour, which makes it suitable for a wide range of packaging applications.<strong>ast equivalent to a polyethylene terephthalate-aluminium-polyethylene (PET\/ALU\/PE) triplex laminate<\/strong> is. This makes it an ideal environmentally friendly substitute for various purposes, including packaging for wet wipes, nuts, baby food, fruit juices and coffee. Constantia Flexibles chose PE as the basis for the packaging of the future due to its <strong>Compatibility with established recycling systems<\/strong> and the existing market for recycled material (PCR). This choice enables seamless integration into the circular economy. EcoLam, which is used for these pouches, is a recyclable mono PE laminate that has excellent printability. It is<strong> manufactured at Constantia Flexibles' South African plant, Constantia Afripack<\/strong> and consists of orientated polyethylene (OPE), whereby <strong>a special extrusion process facilitates the processing of the mono material<\/strong>. EcoLam offers high optical transparency, improved thermal resistance, simple sealing and easy-to-open packaging and is also \u201edesigned for recycling\u201c.
