Coveris<\/a> has achieved an innovation in the field of thermoforming film packaging with MonoFlex Thermoform. The solution is a recyclable and sustainable alternative to non-recyclable materials currently used in the food sector. The newest ReCover site in Louth, Lincolnshire (UK), creates a new level of sustainability with an innovative De-inking recycling process opens up a new life cycle for printed PE packaging films<\/strong> from post-industrial waste (PIW). The printed PE packaging films are regranulated into high-quality recycled PE resin, ReGen, which is used as a recycled material in Coveris' film extrusion process and complies with the UK Plastic Packaging Tax.<\/p>\n

The company also has major growth plans for its long-established and award-winning recycling centre in the Paper Division in Boston (USA). The centre processes 10,000 tonnes of paper waste annually, both from the company's own production and from customers.
