Companies are always looking for new ways to showcase the possibilities of packaging materials. Mondi has now used corrugated board to master a sporting challenge. The company built the first skateboard half-pipe from corrugated board.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The challenge was to build the very first skateboard halfpipe out of corrugated cardboard, the paper used in corrugated cardboard packaging. Julia Br\u00fcckler's passion for skateboarding is in line with Mondis<\/a> commitment to excellence, and like the resilience of sport, this project reflects the meticulous processes to perfect the paper grades<\/strong> echoed.<\/p>\n

\u201eThis was such a unique experience! I realised that we often take the paper items we use in everyday life for granted and don't think about where they come from or how they are made. Discovering the details of paper packaging and learning how durable and strong the material can be was a real eye-opener!\u201c<\/p>\n
