This is where clip-pak-based solutions from Poly-clip System, designed for liquid, pasty and highly viscous products, can really come into their own: Compared to conventional packaging, such as tin cans or plastic trays, they are just as reliable, yet particularly Space-saving and leave behind very little packaging waste. A study by the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT from 2019 confirms the positive environmental aspect: according to the study, clip closure solutions for packaging sausages produce up to 81 per cent less greenhouse gas emissions than thermoformed packaging and 64 per cent less than injection-moulded cups. With the further development of its FCA series into the „Green Series“, Poly-clip System is also helping its customers to save more energy with energy-saving clipping machines. Conserving resources through economical use of energy - and thus to effectively reduce their CO2-Footprints.

Poly-clip SCD 700 - semi-automatic clipping machine in hygienic design. (Image: Poly-clip System)

The robust, user-friendly FCA 80 double clipper provides an easy introduction to automatic clipping, reliably clipping collagen casings up to 80 mm, fibrous casings up to 100 mm or plastic casings up to 160 mm calibre and achieving up to 125 cycles/minute. The highly flexible double clipper, which Four different spreads is easy to operate. The integrated linear displacer, which produces symmetrical sausage ends with an even pleat, ensures visually perfect products. Like various other models in the Poly-clip System portfolio, the fully automatic, energy-saving FCA 80 machine from the new „Green Series“ can be equipped with the new jumbo reel for more sustainable use of consumables: with up to 50 per cent more clips on just one reel, fewer changes are required. This ensures More efficient processes, less machine downtime - and, on balance, for a reduced volume of waste.

The SCD 700 clipping machine makes the semi-automatic clipping of various types of cut-off products not only efficient, but even safer. The easy-to-operate single clipping machine seals plastic and natural casings up to 120 mm calibre as well as bags and nets. With a hygienic design upgrade, Poly-clip System now also ensures further optimised food safety: with the help of Laser technology that replaces punching in the machine manufacturing process, This results in absolutely even surfaces that are even easier to clean, which further improves the hygiene properties. Based on the modular principle, the semi-automatic clipping machine can be supplemented with optional features, including clip coding, e.g. for batch traceability.

Dr Alexander Giehl, an experienced company leader, has taken over the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the family-owned company in 2023. He is focussing on a combination of innovation, automation and sustainability in the strategic development of the clipping machine provider. The conditions for this are excellent, says Dr Alexander Giehl:

„Poly-clip System has a long tradition, a strong market position, highly automated production and an impressive number of patents, and has also taken an important step towards sustainability internally by receiving the PRIMAKLIMA seal (primaklima.org) as a climate-neutral location. I look forward to using the experience and diversity of ideas of our employees to drive forward the further development of our product portfolio in order to continue offering our customers the best solution in the future.“

Source: Poly-clip system

Poly-clip System at Anuga FoodTec: Hall 9, Stand A11

Poly-clip System zeigt auf der Anuga FoodTec sichere und materialsparende Verpackungslösungen für Lebensmittel.
