The new evaluation unit of the radar system PSENradar enables FSoE functionality in accordance with IEC 61508 for safety applications up to SIL 3. As an FSoE main instance (FSoE master), PNOZmulti 2 combines the monitoring of all safety functions of a radar application in one unit and establishes connections to safe FSoE subordinate instances (FSoE slaves) in the network. In the complete package of safe small controller PNOZmulti 2 as FSoE MainInstance with safe radar system, this safety-relevant networking can be implemented easily as a single-cable solution with minimal wiring effort.<\/p>\n
