Berry is focussing on sustainability at LogiMAT in Stuttgart. The company is showcasing solutions for pallet protection and stabilisation that are characterised by recyclability, light weight and the use of recycled materials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Berry's range of high-performance pallet protection solutions, which Technically advanced stretch bonnets and stretch films<\/strong> is suitable for a range of products and end markets, including logistics, construction materials, chemicals and food and beverages. Highlights include the company's stretch bonnet films and Bontite films, which can be optionally equipped with the Sustane range of recycled polymers. The Sustane polymers are EUCertPlast certified, which gives customers the assurance that the recycled materials<\/strong> are authentic and of high quality.<\/p>\n

As one of the most experienced manufacturers of stretch bonnet films in Europe, we offer Berry<\/a> a wide range of stretch bonnet films, ranging from ultra-high elasticity films through to all-purpose films<\/strong> and can also contain a certain amount of recycled material. For the protection of particularly heavy or irregularly shaped loads, heavy duty stretch bonnets can provide additional protection, especially for products stored outdoors. In addition, stretch bonnets can provide a faster application process with potential material savings<\/strong> which makes them a cost-effective and efficient packaging solution. Films with high stretchability<\/h2>\n

For those who use stretch wrap film to secure their pallet loads, the innovative Bontite stretch wrap film is suitable for high speed and high volume applications. It offers a Stretchability of up to 300 per cent <\/strong>while providing excellent puncture and tear resistance for effective load securing in many different environments. Selected Bontite films are now available with 30 per cent recycled content, sourced from Berry's Sustane range of recycled polymers.<\/p>\n

In addition to Bontite, Berry's ultra-high-performance Stratos film also offers stretchability of up to 300 per cent, making it possible to produce extraordinary Film thicknesses with lower thicknesses<\/strong> This enables users to minimise packaging volumes and maximise cost efficiency. In a successful case study conducted by Berry, the 11.4 \u00b5m thick Stratos film was shown to reduce plastic consumption by 44.6 per cent per year compared to a conventional 23 \u00b5m thick cast stretch film. It is important to note that this Lower weight without compromising on stability<\/strong>, strength and protection.<\/p>\n

Both Bontite and Stratos films are available in a wide range of specifications, with thicknesses and blends that can be customised to the requirements of each application.
