The programme is supported by the SIG Foundation and aims to change consumer behaviour and encourage the public to take their recyclable waste to a collection point to support the circular economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Recycle for Good programme started with a collection point in the Cibubur Junction Mall in East Jakarta. One year after the launch, over 770 families have collected more than 11,700 kilograms of recyclable materials. In collaboration with <strong>Armada Kemasan as a partner for waste management<\/strong> SIG is now expanding the reach of the Recycle for Good programme and increasing the number of collection points to 151 in Jakarta and the greater Jakarta area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eSIG wants to achieve the goal of net-zero CO<sub>2<\/sub>-emissions and halve our environmental impact by 2030, we are therefore pleased to announce the expansion of the Recycle for Good programme in Indonesia. Last year, we set up a single collection centre that delivered good results with measurable success. We encourage the public to visit their nearest Recycle for Good collection centre and drop off their waste, which we will then recycle into something useful and beneficial,\u201c says Arnold Abdi, Managing Director of Armada Kemasan.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sig.biz\/en\/foundation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SIG Way Beyond Good Foundation<\/a> is to work with others to identify, promote and support activities and projects that strengthen civil society and have a positive impact on the environment. <strong>\u201eCartons for Good\u201c was the foundation's first project<\/strong>.
