{"id":91436,"date":"2024-04-03T14:53:34","date_gmt":"2024-04-03T12:53:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=91436"},"modified":"2024-04-03T10:54:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-03T08:54:01","slug":"berlin-packaging-lighter-glass-bottles-wine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/berlin-packaging-leichtere-glasflaschen-wein\/","title":{"rendered":"Berlin Packaging: Lighter glass bottles for wine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At this year's ProWein, Berlin Packaging presented new wine bottles that have been developed with the expertise of its design and innovation department Studio One Eleven and are lighter than their predecessors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the newly developed Postumia (75 cl), for example, the traditional Burgundy bottle has been further developed and now has an elongated cylindrical neck that merges into the angular shoulder. According to the manufacturer, sustainability-orientated innovation is the driving force behind the new Cassia Evo and Appia Evo bottles, which have also been redesigned to reflect the <strong>to meet the requirements of European markets that favour lighter solutions<\/strong>. In response to customer requests, Berlin Packaging has therefore developed the new Cassia Evo 750, which reduces the weight by 150 g compared to the traditional version. The high-shouldered Bordeaux model is now also available in 37.5 and 100 cl sizes thanks to an expansion of the range. The closure manufacturer specialises in natural corks that are tailored to the different requirements of wines.
