The outer carton of the packaging now uses fibres from the Silphie plant from PreZero's OutNature brand, which can then be disposed of in the waste paper stream.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Ariel detergent brand stands for excellent stain removal - even with energy and CO<sub>2<\/sub>-low washing temperatures. Many innovative steps have also already been taken in terms of packaging. Since 2022, Ariel All-in-1 PODS has been available in small and medium containers in a <strong>recyclable cardboard packaging<\/strong>. With the new outer carton for large containers, the brand is using Silphie paper as part of the outer packaging for the first time. Silphie paper is <strong>resource-efficient and can be used in the food and non-food sectors.<\/strong> can be used in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eOur approach to innovation is always one of partnership. The transformative power of co-creation is particularly evident in the Silphie project.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Astrid Teckentrup<\/strong>, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Procter &amp; Gamble in Germany, Austria and Switzerland<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The new Ariel carton is another visible sign of the collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=procter+gamble\">P&amp;G<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=prezero\">PreZero<\/a> with its brand <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=outnature\">OutNature<\/a> in the field of innovative packaging. Under the motto #papierver\u00e4ndert, the partners have set out to, <strong>create innovative primary and secondary packaging<\/strong> and successfully establish them on the market. The basis for this is the innovative Silphie paper from the PreZero brand OutNature, which is made from the fibres of the fast-growing and bee-friendly Silphie plant, among other things. In December 2021, displays from the P&amp;G brands Gillette and Always made from Silphie paper went on sale via Lidl and Kaufland. The silphia plants used to produce the fibres come from the district of Sigmaringen in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg. This is also where OutNature's fibre processing plant is located. In addition, the <strong>Fibres obtained without the use of chemicals<\/strong>. The Silphie plant also offers a sustainable perspective for farmers, as its long flowering period from July to September makes it insect-friendly, among other things, <strong>in the soil CO<sub>2<\/sub> and protects it from wind and water erosion<\/strong>. The robust, perennial plant has so far only been used to produce biogas. OutNature has succeeded in separating the plant fibres using a biothermal process. In this way, the PreZero brand is harnessing silphia fibres as a new raw material produced in Germany that is reshaping the paper and packaging industry.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201ePreZero pursues the vision of a world in which resources are no longer wasted thanks to closed cycles: zero waste, 100 per cent recyclable material.
