He succeeds Michael Preu\u00df and is particularly keen to further develop the company's location in Tettnang.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stephan Pies comes from Tettnang and has been with the company since 2011, a real home-grown talent and therefore very familiar with the circumstances. Most recently, the industrial engineer was sales manager and authorised signatory and <strong>was appointed to the Management Board at the beginning of the year<\/strong>. Pies officially took over the helm at Bucher Automation Tettnang on 1 April.<\/p>\n<p>The timing is perfect. The <strong>Change of name last summer<\/strong> marks a real milestone in the history of the company. Under Pies\u2018 aegis, the company will further expand and consolidate its already strong market position in this business area. In addition, the company will in future <strong>increasingly focus on the still young business area of recycling<\/strong>, a business segment with a future. The main focus here is on the gentle and <strong>sustainable use of resources and the recovery of valuable raw materials<\/strong> and energy-efficient processes. Pies: \u201eWe supply the right automation solutions for this.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>The company invested a large proportion of the revenue generated in the 2023 financial year in the <strong>Digitalisation and automation of in-house production<\/strong>. \u201eThis share should remain within this corridor in the future, but in absolute terms we want to grow steadily,\u201c Pies states. Bucher Automation currently employs around 90 people in Tettnang.
