The supporting programme also puts the spotlight on current topics such as sustainability, greenwashing and the solutions of young start-ups.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201eEmbedded in the exhibition, the speakers on stage will inspire the audience with their pioneering and practical topics and fresh ideas. In the Innovation Corner, the diverse formats are finally coming together to provide valuable <strong>Impulses and answers for product development and market strategy<\/strong> to give them the opportunity to do so,\u201c reports Project Director Carmen Bender. From practical lectures and spotlight presentations to start-up talks, the extensive programme offers a wide range of highlights.<\/p>\n<p>As a highlight on the first day of the fair, Alicia Lindner, Managing Director and co-owner of Annemarie B\u00f6rlind, will provide insights into product development at B\u00f6rlind in her presentation. In particular, she will address the question \u201eHow is a credible natural cosmetics product of tomorrow created?\u201c. Trend expert and forecaster Niels Holger Wien will also be there. In his lecture \u201eDO WE CARE? - Everything matters. How to feel part of it all\u201c, he will address current topics of the zeitgeist. \u2018Anything goes\u2018 was yesterday! - The postmodern age of abundance is over. The complex interweaving of the real and the digital is changing our world view. Whether in business, society or the environment <strong>People are increasingly concerned with sustainability<\/strong>. The IKW study analyses the importance of cosmetic products in consumers' everyday lives and sheds light on the extent to which people succeed in changing their previous lifestyle habits.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Mark Smith from NATRUE will give a presentation on \u201eAnti-greenwashing guidelines: protecting consumers, claims and the environment\u201c. <strong>The challenges of greenwashing<\/strong> speak. He will explain how third-party certification and clear guidelines can help protect consumers from misleading claims and ensure the integrity of environmentally friendly products.<\/p>\n<p>In the Innovation Corner, start-ups provide new impetus for the development of future cosmetic products. The two start-ups Gaia Tech from Switzerland and Lignovations from Austria prove that upcycling is currently all the rage. Gaia Tech shows how the <strong>Upcycling by-products from agriculture<\/strong>, valuable new ingredients for the cosmetics industry. They are presenting their product, an anti-ageing extract from olive pomace, at CosmeticBusiness.<\/p>\n<p>The start-up Lignovations from Austria presents its product LignoGuard, a bio-based multifunctional ingredient made from upcycled lignin. This is a biopolymer that offers natural UV and antioxidant protection and improves emulsion stability. LignoGuard can be used in a wide range of products such as skin care, sun protection, colour cosmetics and anti-ageing to replace synthetic ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>Over 30 new products - from ingredients and manufacturing processes to material and packaging solutions - will be showcased in the Innovation Spotlight. The \u201eInnovation Route\u201c filter option in the online exhibitor directory guides visitors to the respective exhibitor on site.
