In mid-May, the German Design Council presented the German Innovation Award in Berlin. Leibinger was delighted to receive a gold award for the IQJET industrial printer. The company was also honoured as Innovator of the Year 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The interdisciplinary expert jury of the German Design Council honoured IQJET with the German Innovation Award in Gold in the category \u201eExcellence in Business to Business: Machines & Engineering\u201c. The prize is awarded on the basis of criteria such as sustainability, quality and cost-effectiveness for outstanding products, projects and pioneering achievements.<\/p>\n

Labelling plays a decisive role wherever production and packaging takes place. The printed information ensures reliable compliance with legal requirements, enables Seamless tracking along the entire value chain<\/strong> and create transparency and interaction opportunities for consumers. The new IQJET industrial printer is revolutionising the Leibinger<\/a> continuous inkjet printing (CIJ) and offers users from numerous industries an optimum solution for labelling their products.<\/p>

IQJET prints, for example, texts, logos and codes on a Variety of surfaces such as metal, plastic, glass and paper<\/strong>. The devices ensure high performance, print quality and efficiency with continuous availability without the need for cleaning. Users benefit from the special \u201ePlug&Print\u201c functionality, simple operation and five years of maintenance-free operation. Compared to conventional printers, IQJET reduces operating costs by up to 30 per cent. In addition, companies optimise their ecological footprint thanks to the Low energy, ink and solvent consumption<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Christina Leibinger, CEO at Leibinger, and COO Jan van het Reve accepted the award in person. Leibinger also impressed the nomination committee for the Innovator of the Year 2024 award. The recognised experts from business, science and the media consider Leibinger to be forward-looking in its field. The award is the largest public prize in the German economy and honours companies of all sizes and industries as well as innovative ideas from all business sectors. More than 70,000 entrepreneurs, managing directors and other business enthusiasts also vote online for the winners of the public awards in various categories.<\/p>\n
