In September, everything will revolve around the key theme of \u201eTransition in Packaging\u201c. Around 1,400 exhibitors will be presenting their solutions for the industry in eleven exhibition halls and visitors can also look forward to a broad supporting programme.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eYou simply can't avoid Fachpack in the packaging industry. Being there is everything! As the most important European trade fair, it brings together national and international packaging professionals and idea seekers in a total of 11 exhibition halls with well-known market leaders, established SMEs and fresh start-ups. Not only packaging materials, packaging materials, packaging aids, packaging machines and packaging technology are exhibited. The associated important processes relating to automation, labelling technology, packaging printing, finishing and intralogistics can also be experienced on site in Nuremberg.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heike Slotta<\/strong>, Executive Director Exhibitions at N\u00fcrnbergMesse<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The exhibitors will be showing the<strong> latest technologies and innovative packaging solutions<\/strong>, which are relevant for numerous sectors such as food, beverages and luxury foods, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals and health care, non-food, pet food and other consumer goods on a daily basis. Visitors from the automotive, technical articles, medical technology and other industrial goods sectors will also be coming to Nuremberg in September.<\/p>\n<p>A special feature of the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=fachpack\">Specialist pack<\/a> is their character as <strong>Job fair with a hands-on mentality<\/strong>. The aim is to tackle things together. Sustainability is at the centre of everything and, of course, the recently adopted EU packaging regulation is part of this <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/news\/eu-verpackungsverordnung\/\">PPWR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Their ambitious goal: to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact. Companies are required to invest in new, more environmentally friendly solutions. Increased transparency for consumers through improved labelling requirements is now also mandatory. So far, so positive. However, there are also significant points of criticism from various economic players, such as the <strong>Practical feasibility of the required recyclability and the use of recyclates<\/strong>, especially in contact with food. The burden on small and medium-sized enterprises must also be viewed critically. The PPWR is therefore a <strong>Balancing act between ecological responsibility and economic viability<\/strong>, which to a large extent sets the course for the future of European environmental and economic policy. At Fachpack, the topic will be on everyone's lips and will be the subject of controversial debate.<\/p>\n<p>And so it is not only at the trade fair stands, but also in the <strong>varied accompanying programme<\/strong> Fachpack with its exciting presentations and discussions in the PACKBOX, INNOVATIONBOX and SOLPACK (powered by pacoon) forums, inspiring <strong>Special shows and award ceremonies<\/strong> Everything revolves around sustainability and the future viability of the industry. Topics include the circular economy, dealing with the PPWR regulations, brand and consumer behaviour, automation and AI, man and machine, alternative packaging solutions and new fibre raw materials as well as innovations and technological developments. Also <strong>Scientific projects and solutions<\/strong> on various industry topics will be presented.
